Working with Charities

Welliving is proud to be part of various charities.  We pride ourselves in organising bespoke and adventure packages for Charities and any great cause.  So please if you want to raise awareness for a charity close to you heart and want a challenge that highlights that great cause, we are here to help.

Caring Matters Now

LIVERPOOL TO LONDON TREK - The journey began at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, followed by 12 days of trekking through the most beautiful countryside, ending our final day walking through the great capital city of London to the finish line at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.   We as a team walked 270 miles and raised over £40,000.

Jurassic Coast Trek
23rd – 24th September 2023

Join  me, and our team of trekkers, taking on the Jurassic Coast Challenge this September. Experience the beautiful views along the South Coast, and get to know others who are taking on this challenge of raising funds to support Caring Matters Now.

Where?

The trek will take place along 32 miles of the beautiful South Coast… starting in Weymouth with a day’s trekking of 15 miles towards Lulworth. You will then be camping overnight at Durdle Door Camping Park (you will need to bring your own tent & sleeping bag). The next day will continue with the trek, another 17 miles from Lulworth along the coastline, finishing in Swanage.

When?

Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th September 2023.

What is included?

We will be providing the pitch for your tent at the campsite for the Saturday evening*, however you will be required to bring your own tent, sleeping bag and any other travel items you may require. Steve, the trek guide, will send out a kit-list to all participants once they have signed up.

You will also need to bring your own food/snacks for the trek. There will be a shop on-site at the campsite for anything you need to purchase and Steve will be able to direct you to any other local places you may wish to visit for a nice evening meal.

At the end of the trek, you will have to find your own way back home or to wherever you have parked your vehicle for the weekend. We will be unable to provide lifts for participants.

We will have a support vehicle which will be following your journey throughout the trek, they will be on hand in case of emergencies, and will be able to help with providing things such as first aid kits and extra water.

*If you would like to stay at the campsite on the Friday evening as well as the Saturday, please do speak to Steve once you have booked your place and he will be able to sort this for you.

How much?

A registration fee of £50 must be paid when signing up in order to reserve your place.

Fundraising

There is a minimum sponsorship of £500.
This needs to be raised before you take on the trek. Once you have signed up by clicking the button below, you will be directed to set up your fundraising page.
I will be happy to help you with your fundraising efforts, so please do get in touch by emailing fundraise@caringmattersnow.co.uk if you have any questions at all.

Walking with the Wounded

Welliving is actively involved in the Walkin home for Christmas event for Walking with the Wounded Charity.  Whether mentally wounded, socially wounded or physically wounded, they deserve the care, support and means they and their families need to function in society, serving in the communities in which they live, reigniting their sense of purpose and making a positive contribution again. Walking With The Wounded gets those who’ve served – and their families - back on their feet. Your support and fundraising will help make a critical difference this Christmas and beyond.
